darkness of the day

a shadow is looming over me
or least i feel that today
a depressen taken over me
i just want to runaway
away from my shadows
away from my doubts
i hate hurting like this
it always seems to happen
lately i can't exspress it
there is no where for it to go
no one to be my shoulder
no one to support me
i keep grasping for the light
always laying out of reach
i wish my sun would stay away
or possibly never set
but it keeps happening
giving and taking hope away
so i bury myself in lies
bury myself with smiles
trying not to show my inside
the broken pieces on the floor
i wait till they turn their backs
to let all the tears fall
